About Jen

Hi. I’m Jen — and I’m tired of the wellness noise, too.

I built Wellness AF Club because I couldn’t find a single place that gave women like me & you straight answers backed by actual science.

So I go to the source. I dig into the peer-reviewed journals, the meta-analyses, the studies that actually hold up. And then I translate all of it into something you can use.

The Podcast

One topic. One episode. No fluff.

Each episode of the Wellness AF Club podcast breaks down one topic — the research, the nuance, and exactly what to do with it.

New episodes dig into fat loss, muscle preservation, bone health, hormones, metabolism — everything that actually matters for women who want to live a healthy life.

Why it matters

The research is clear. Most wellness advice isn’t.

Here’s some of what the science actually shows — the kind of stuff you won’t find on a wellness influencer’s Instagram.

5%
body weight loss needed for meaningful clinical health improvements
58%
fracture reduction from 16 years of consistent strength training in women
7.4%
spinal bone density lost in a 3-year window around menopause
20–50%
how much people underestimate their calorie intake on average

Common questions

Everything you need to know about what this place is — and isn’t.

Wellness AF Club is an evidence-based wellness brand and podcast for women, hosted by Jen Stanley. We translate peer-reviewed health science into practical, sustainable guidance — covering fat loss, strength training, bone health, hormones, nutrition, and more. No fads, no extremes, just what the research actually says.
The podcast is designed for women who are tired of conflicting wellness advice and want evidence-based, practical information they can actually use. If you’ve tried the programs, the cleanses, and the cutting carbs after 6pm and you know something isn’t adding up — this is for you.
We cover fat loss and calorie science, strength training and muscle preservation, bone health and osteoporosis prevention, hormones and perimenopause, nutrition fundamentals, supplements worth taking (and ones that aren’t), and the psychology of sustainable behavior change — all grounded in peer-reviewed research.
The Wellness AF Club podcast is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and wherever you listen to podcasts.
Yes. The podcast, all articles, and the weekly email newsletter are completely free. Jen also offers a free macro and calorie calculator on the site that gives you a personalized calorie target, macro breakdown, and deficit range based on your goal weight.
Every claim on Wellness AF Club is tied to peer-reviewed research — meta-analyses, randomized controlled trials, and systematic reviews. We cite our sources, flag what’s emerging vs. well-established, and never recommend something just because it’s trending. If the science doesn’t support it, we don’t say it.
